KELLER, Wash. — Containment has grown for the Swawilla Fire burning in Ferry County and on the Colville Reservation.
Firefighters have the fire 60% contained with almost 49,000 acres burned.
Fire managers report progress is going great as they continue to secure private property and people’s homes.
Evacuation levels have been steadily decreasing except the town of Keller is still ordered to leave now.
