SPOKANE, Wash. — High heat is heading back to the Inland Northwest, so the City of Spokane is working to help keep residents cool.
The city says its cooling center will be activated to provide a space for people to cool off.
The cooling centers are at Spokane Public Library locations and the Trent Resource Center.
The city will also add a free evening swim at three of their aquatic centers: A.M. Cannon Park, Comstock Park, and Hillyard.
