BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police is investigating a fatal crash where a woman drove off the road into a pond near Sandpoint.
According to ISP, a 43-year-old woman was driving on Colburn Culver Road heading toward Highway 95 sometime between late Sunday and Monday morning.
ISP says the woman was speeding, lost control when she crossed Highway 95, and crashed into a pond. She died at the scene.
ISP says alcohol is a suspected factor and the coroner will release her ID at a later time.
