SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is accepting grant applications for programs that increase Spokane’s tourism and cultural environment.
Organizations around Spokane, including nonprofits, for-profits and public agencies are eligible to apply for the Spokane Tourist and Cultural Investment (TACI) grants.
The priority of the programs should be to bring tourists to Spokane, especially those living within 50 miles of the city.
The event may be ticketed, but open to the general pubic and attendance cannot be limited.
Funding for the TACI grants comes from the lodging tax, which is paid by overnight stays at hotels.
Applications are due April 4.
The City of Spokane will host an application workshop on March 7 to walk prospective applicants through the process.
