NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho — A Caldwell man was rushed to the hospital from a three-vehicle crash on Highway 95 near Lapwai, Idaho on Friday evening.
According to Idaho State Police, a gray pickup truck was driving southbound on the highway around 6:15 p.m. without headlights on. A sedan was driving the opposite way and began to pass a second pickup truck.
The car crashed head-on with the gray truck, which caused the truck to roll on its side and come to rest in the middle of the highway.
The driver of the sedan, a 50-year-old man from Caldwell, was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. The other two drivers were treated at the scene and released by medical personnel.
ISP says everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt. The highway was impacted for about three and a half hours.
The crash is still under investigation.
