SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is offering a series of community workshops to learn more about how residents would like to see Spokane evolve over the next 20 years.
The in-person workshops will include topics like land use, transportation, housing, economic development, neighborhoods, parks, governance and more.
Residents will have an opportunity to learn mapping exercises and feedback related to Spokane’s growth.
“This is an exceptional occasion for Spokane residents to share what they would like the next 20 years to look like,” says Planning Director Spencer Gardner. “Many things can evolve and we want to hear from our community to formalize it in the Comprehensive Plan.”
Registration is not required to attend the workshops, as they are structured in a drop-in format. You can even bring the kids! Activities for them will be available.
