KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — Police arrested a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, according to Post Falls Police Department.
Around 1:40 p.m. on February 26, police arrested 47-year-old Jason Rook near Seltice Way and Atlas Road in Coeur d’Alene.
On February 23, police received a call from a woman who said her boyfriend had been shot. When police arrived at the home, they found a 46-year-old man dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police identified Rook as the suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Rook evaded police for a few days before police found him on Wednesday.
PFPD said he surrendered peacefully.
