SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters have made significant progress on the three wildfires burning around Spokane County.
The Columbia Basin Fire is burning in Tyler outside of Cheney.
Firefighters say containment is at 75% as of Tuesday and has burned about 252 acres. Three homes and seven outbuildings were destroyed, and one home was damaged.
Crews fully lined the fire Monday and will continue mop up efforts. All evacuation orders for that fire have been lifted.
The Cemetery Fire is burning off Government Way near Indian Canyon Golf Course. That fire is now 60% contained at 44 acres.
One outbuilding was damaged in the fire. Firefighters warn people to be aware of the fire as a Level 1 evacuation order is still in effect.
The Mullen Hill Fire burning off Highway 195 near Hatch Road is now 50% contained at 9 acres. All evacuation orders have been lifted for this fire.
