COLFAX, Wash. — The former Pullman Police Chief appeared in court on Wednesday for a protection order accusing him of sexual assault and harassment.
Jake Opgenorth was placed on administrative leave from PPD since mid-December.
Court documents contain accusations made by a woman with whom attorneys say Opgenorth was previously in a relationship. The documents allege he harassed and sexually assaulted her.
Opgenorth’s attorney is requesting 6,000 pages of messages between Opgenorth and his accuser that date back to 2021.
He is scheduled to be back in court for the protection order on February 26.
