Multiple Eastern Washington and North Idaho Joann Fabrics stores will be shutting their doors soon as the bankrupt retail chain announces mass closures.
Approximately 500 of the 800 stores across the United States are closing, the retailer said in a statement to CNN, saying that “right-sizing our store footprint is a critical part of our efforts to ensure the best path forward.”
Among those expected to close are the South Spokane, Spokane Valley, East Wenatchee, Walla Walla, Moses Lake and Moscow, Idaho locations.

Joann filed for its second bankruptcy in less than a year last month. The company also said it is looking for a potential buyer.
The company announced the stores are expected to close in the coming.
