POST FALLS, Idaho — A Liberty Lake man was arrested for online enticement of a child, according to Post Falls Police Department (PFPD).
40-year-old Christopher Hayes was arrested and booked into the Kootenai County Public Safety Building.
According to PFPD, Hayes faces charges of enticing a child through the internet or another communication device.
Law enforcement agencies in the region joined forces to combat sex trafficking, online exploitation, and child abuse during a specialized operation conducted from January 29 to 31, said PFPD.
Hayes was also booked on three outstanding warrants, including one from Washington state for rape of a child, as well as two from Kootenai County for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hayes has ties to Post Falls, Liberty Lake, and Rathdrum.
