SPOKANE, Wash. — The man accused of robbing a Walgreens in North Spokane this week has been arrested.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), 57-year-old Zephery G. Strandy went into the Walgreens on North Division around 10:40 a.m. on Monday.
SCSO said Strandy pulled out a pistol, aimed it at an employee and demanded narcotics. He then left the store in a blue pickup truck.
Detectives later found out Strandy was borrowing the truck when the robbery occurred.
Strandy was contacted by deputies at a home on North Crestline Street on Wednesday. SCSO said there was a red hoodie and ski mask at the home similar to the ones worn at the time of the robbery.
Strandy was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for Robbery in the 1st Degree.
