SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Humane Society is having reduced-priced spay and neuter clinics for low-income community members next month.
On February 13, there will be 20 available spay and neuter appointments for cats priced at just $25.
There will be appointments available for $25 dog spay and neuter appointments on February 3, 5, 10, 19, 24 and 26.
Spokane Humane Society said over the past few years, there has been an increasing number of puppies and kittens needing services. Spaying and neutering can help increase life expectancy and reduce unwanted behaviors in pets.
Funds for these lower-cost appointments are made possible thanks to a grant from the Summerlee Foundation.
