Two people at the scene of a SWAT standoff in Spokane Valley have been handcuffed by law enforcement.

A SWAT standoff is currently underway near East 9th Avenue and South University Road in Spokane Valley.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, detectives and the U.S. Marshals served a warrant at the home and the people inside were uncooperative.
One person has been detained and another is currently still in the house.
SCSO said the house is surrounded and negotiations are ongoing.
