PRIEST LAKE, Idaho — Vintage snowmobile racing is coming to Priest Lake this weekend!
This event will take place on January 25 and 26 on the west side of Priest Lake using the USFS Airstrip near Northman, Idaho. The race begins at 10 a.m. on both days.
All vintage snowmobiles that are from 1985 or older are eligible to race. There will be different racing categories based on age and gender as well as amateur and advanced classes.
Racing officials said participation in this annual event averaged around 300 entries for the event in recent years. Participants come from across the Northwest and Canada to participate in these races.
Entry to the race is free, but donations are accepted.
This weekend isn’t the only snowmobile race being hosted in Priest Lake this season. You can also catch the West Coast Ice Oval Championships on February 15 and 16.
