DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — A man not wearing a seatbelt was killed in a head on crash early Saturday morning east of Quincy.
According to Washington State Patrol, a car driven by 32-year-old Claudio Navarrobernal was heading westbound on State Route 28, crossed the centerline and hit an eastbound vehicle head on around 2:30 a.m.
Navarrobernal was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
Two people in their 40s in the eastbound vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
WSP says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
