SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department (SPD) arrested a man on Tuesday morning after responding to a burglary report at a commercial building on North Freya Street.
According to SPD, 37-year-old Jordan C. Kerr was arrested in Spokane on January 14 after a burglary at a commercial building on North Freya Street.
SPD said employees spotted the suspect prowling a vehicle, and he fled on foot, leaving behind a stolen red pickup truck. The truck contained stolen items from a nearby business.
Officers later located Kerr based on a witness tip, and during a vehicle stop, they found a loaded firearm under his seat.
Kerr was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on charges of first-degree burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, third-degree malicious mischief, and third-degree theft from a building.
