COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Get ready for gooey goodness this weekend as the Mac & Cheese Festival returns to Downtown Coeur d’Alene.
On Saturday, January 18, you can taste variations of mac and cheese from local chefs competing for the top prize: The Golden Noodle Award. Nineteen local chefs are putting their own creative spin on the classic comfort meal.
Sweet Lou’s owner Chad Foust says the festival goes a long way to support local businesses during the off-season. He says this event has fun that the whole family can get in on, including delicious mac and cheese dishes for kids and beer pairings for adults.
“You get to try all these different types of mac and cheeses that all these great chefs are putting out. It’s fun and it’s also fun for us to put something together that we don’t normally do,” said Foust.
Tickets are on sale now and running out quickly. You can join the quickly-moving wait list for a la carte tickets now or purchase the Big 5 Event Pass.
