AIRWAY HEIGHT, Wash. — The driver of the car that crashed into a semi-truck earlier this month has died.
On January 8, a car driving south on Wood Road ran a stop sign at Highway 2 and crashed into a semi-truck.
Three people were in the car at the time of the crash and a 16-year-old passenger died from their injuries after being hospitalized.
On January 13, WSP announced the 18-year-old driver, Shayanne Cicherski, had also died from her injuries.
The third occupant in the car, a 13-year-old student from Wellpinit, survived the crash and was released after a brief hospitalization.
