STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A man who was previously missing for over a month was found dead on Monday, according to Stevens County Sheriff’s Office.
58-year-old Jude Schneider was found dead about 40 yards from his truck in Pend Oreille County on December 30.
His truck was found by a passing log truck on December 27 over a steep embankment off Highway 20, west of Tiger.
Schneider was reported missing after he drove away from his home in Colville on November 18 and was not seen again.
SCSO said the cause of the crash and death are under investigation.
