SPOKANE, Wash. — Latinos en Spokane will host its 7th annual Tamalada Tamale Festival on Saturday.
The festival will feature several local vendors, serving tamales from different regions of Latin America.
Attendees will vote for their favorite tamale and the winner will receive the title of “Best Tamale in Spokane” and a $200 cash prize.
The celebration will also include live music, kids’ activities and raffles.
“Beyond the delicious food, Tamalada is a community celebration of Latin culture and culinary heritage. It’s a wonderful chance to savor rich flavors, connect with local vendors, and enjoy music, laughter, and a festive atmosphere,” wrote Latinos en Spokane, an organization that supports and engages Spokane’s Latino community.
The festival will take place at the West Central Community Center (1603 West Belt Street) from 3 – 8 p.m. on November 23. Admission is free. For more information, click here.
