MEAD, Wash. — The animals at Cat Tales Wildlife Center enjoyed a spooky celebration this weekend!
Boo at the Zoo is Cat Tale’s annual Halloween-themed event where animals have the chance to play with some festive treats.
“We’ve got some carved pumpkins that have some chicken treats inside. We’ve got corn stalks that we picked up at our neighbors at Green Bluff and we hae some blood-cicles that our staff made,” said Cat Tales Executive Director Lisa Grey.
Tiger and other big cats had a great time smashing and playing with pumpkins to get to the tasty treats inside.
Cat Tale’s staff said late fall is a great time to visit the center because the weather is cooler and the animals are more active.
