SPOKANE, Wash. — Residents were evacuated from Regal Arms Apartment complex building east of the Hillyard library due to a fire on Friday afternoon.
According to the Spokane Fire Department (SFD), the fire started in a kitchen around 3:44 p.m. and quickly spread into the unit.
SFD said, no one was injured, but 12 – 15 residents are currently displaced from the complex.
According to American Red Cross Northwest Region, volunteers will be in contact with those impacted to evaluate and what support might be needed.
The fire was contained to two units.
