SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A driver was trapped underneath a semi on I-90 after a crash on Friday afternoon, according to Spokane Valley Fire Department.
At approximately 4 p.m., SVFD units responded to a collision on eastbound I-90 near the Barker exit, where a vehicle was trapped under a semi.
SVFD said, the situation was upgraded to a heavy rescue, bringing in specialized equipment.
Fortunately, the driver trapped in the vehicle was safely extricated and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
