PULLMAN, Wash – Washington State will travel to Colorado State next season, as the Cougs announce another game to fill in their 2025 football schedule.
WSU announced Thursday it will play the Rams in Fort Collins on September 27.
The Cougs were originally scheduled to play at Virginia on that date. That game has now been moved to October 18.
Playing in the depleted Pac-12 contest, WSU and Oregon State have to find teams to fill out their football schedule until the conference expands again with more teams in 2026.
Colorado State is among the schools that will join the Pac-12 conference at that time.
Earlier this week, WSU announced it will play Oregon State twice next season.
WSU now has 11 games scheduled for next season. They’ll host Idaho, Louisiana Tech, Oregon State, San Diego State, Toledo and Washington.
WSU will play road games against Ole Miss, North Texas, Colorado State, Oregon State and Virginia.
Washington State needs one more game to round out the 2025 season.
