SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Burn restrictions will be lifted Friday for most of Spokane County.
The restrictions, which were first put in place on July 2, will be rescinded after midnight on Friday.
Outdoor recreational fires, including campfires, will be allowed throughout all unincorporated areas of Spokane County as well as the cities of Spokane and Spokane Valley.
You will also be able to use backyard barbecues, chimineas, portable outdoor fireplaces, fire pits and other patio or deck warmers.
Burning may be temporarily restricted if the Spokane Clean Air Agency deems it necessary. Department of Natural Resource lands may also have burn restrictions in place and should be checked before burning on its website.
