COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — It’s almost time for leaf pick-ups to begin in Coeur d’Alene.
The city of Coeur d’Alene said Leaf Fest is set to begin on Tuesday, November 12. You can start putting leaves and needles out after Friday, November 1.
Officials ask you to keep the leaves about one foot away from the curb line to allow for drainage.
Vehicles should also be moved off the street during the leaf pick-ups and people should keep a safe distance away from pick-up equipment.
The city said not to place the leaves in bags or mix the leaves with branches, garden debris, grass clippings, or other trash.
City sweepers will follow city trucks to collect any remaining leaves.
