WARDEN, Wash. — A woman is in custody accused of stealing two cars, one with a baby inside and the other a police vehicle.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Warden for a stolen vehicle that had a baby in it Wednesday.
Deputies caught up to the suspect and arrested her. While she was placed in the patrol car, GCSO said she somehow got into the front seat of the car and stole that.
Deputies were able to stop her and arrest her again. GCSO suspects she was under the influence and took her to the hospital for treatment.
The baby was safely reunited with its mother.
