SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane’s recent string of falling gas prices has abruptly ended as the average price of a gallon jumped this week.
According to gas surveyor GasBuddy, the average price of a gallon of gas rose 18 cents this week to $3.77. That’s 3 cents higher than last month but still almost 90 cents lower than this time last year.
GasBuddy reports the cheapest station to be found in Spokane is $3.48 and the most expensive is $3.99.
Nationally, the price of gas also rose 3 cents but diesel fell 3 cents to $3.57 a gallon, the lowest since January 2022.
In Idaho, gas fell slightly 3 cents to $3.43.
