SPOKANE, Wash. — You’ll be hard pressed to find anything else like it, not just in Spokane but in the country.
Indicana is opening in the heart of the Perry District and will celebrate the flavors of both India and Mexican in a one-of-a-kind collaboration of dishes.
Co-Owner and Chef Noreen Hiskey (Inland Curry) wanted to expose the area to flavors from her culture but make it accessible to the people of the Inland Northwest.
So, Noreen teamed up with former Spiceology CEO Chip Overstreet to bring something special to the growing Perry District.
Noreen feels Indian food is misrepresented and can go far beyond a standard curry over rice, so it was important for her to highlight different Indian communities’ flavors.
Indicana will officially open Tuesday, October 22 and be open Tuesday-Saturday.
Indicana will have casual lunch service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and an elevated dinner experience from 5-9 p.m. (10 p.m. Friday, Saturday). Weekday Happy Hour will be from 3-5 p.m.
