COLBERT, Wash. — A reported threat at Mountainside Middle School was determined to be unsubstantiated Friday morning.
According to Principal Gregg Hare, a student reported an alleged threat Thursday and parents informed the school.
Before school Friday, law enforcement responded and investigated. They contacted the student who allegedly made the threat and determined staff and students were not in imminent danger.
Hare thanked the student who came forward and said additional mental health resources will be available for students.
