An emergency alert was issued for a dust storm moving through the Inland Northwest on Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service issued the alert around 4:30 p.m. on September 25.
Around 4:48 p.m., the emergency alert was canceled.
During a dust storm, drivers should use caution and be prepared for low visibility on the roads.
The NWS said if dust moves onto the roads while you are driving and you are unable to see, pull over and put your car into park.
They also advise people with respiratory sensitivity to take precautions and stay inside if possible.
This is a developing story.
