BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — The U.S. Secret Service arrested a Bonner County man in August for threatening to kill former President Donald Trump.
According to court documents, Warren Crazybull Jones is accused of calling Mar-a-Lago resort on July 31 and threatening to go there and kill the former president.
Agents say they found a Facebook page associated to Jones that had posts with threats to kill the former president.
The Secret Service says they were able to locate Jones using the phone number that called the resort.
When interviewed by law enforcement, Jones told agents he was chief of a native American tribe and blames Trump and John F. Kennedy for breaking treaties that resulted in his loss of land.
Jones also told agents he would not attempt to kill Trump and had previously been admitted for psychiatric care. He was arrested August 1.
