CHENEY, Wash. – Eastern Washington’s Jojo Maxey-Johnson won the Big Sky co-Defensive Player of the Week award today for his two late interceptions in EWU’s win over Northern Colorado.
The Eagles beat the Bears, 31-22, and Maxey-Johnson’s two fourth-quarter picks prevented any late comeback attempt.
The defensive back now has all three of his career interceptions against UNC; this week’s two added to the one he caught last season.
