COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office invites the community to gather on September 11th to remember those lost in the 2001 attacks and honor the first responders who answered that day for the 25th aniversary of the attack.
The free ceremony takes place September 11th, 2026, at Silver Lake Mall at 11 a.m. Local Gold Star Families, those who lost loved ones in military service, will be recognized during the program.
Buffalo Speedway will perform live music during the event.
The event is a partnership between the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Black Sheep Sporting Goods, and Silver Lake Mall.
