SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A Spokane Valley fugitive who has spent more than a year on the run has been tracked down and arrested in Alabama this week.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Robert Depasquale had a felony warrant for assault and rape charges out of Spokane County.
Depasquale appeared before a Spokane County Superior Court judge in May of last year. After that, USMS says he fled the state.
Investigators tracked Depasquale to Alabama, where he was taken into custody on Wednesday without incident.
Depasquale is currently waiting to be extradited back to Washington.
