CLARKSTON, Wash. — Containment has grown on an over 600-acre wildfire burning near Clarkston.
According to the incident management team, containment on the Snake River Fire has grown to 70%.
The Snake River Fire started on Friday evening and worked its way along Wawawai Road west of Clarkston. It burned in grasslands and steep rocky terrain.
Crews worked on Sunday to assess the structures threatened by the fire.
There are no evacuations or road closures in effect for this fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
