SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Indians fell back to 0-2 in the series against the Hillsboro Hops, as the Oregon visitors won 4-2 today.
Both teams earned nine hits and left nine batters on base, as Hillsboro pulled ahead with a three-run top of the fourth that helped put the game away.
Max Belyeu was Spokane’s best hitter with his first three-hit game since May 24.
The Indians return to action against the Hops tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. for Game 3 of the six-game series.
