SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Lilac Festival announced the award honorees of the 2026 Armed Forces Torchlight Parade!
The parade took place on Saturday, May 16. Judging took place throughout the day and during the parade.
The Lilac Sweepstakes Award for the best overall community float went to #28, Ritzville.
The Queen’s Award went to #60, Freeman. The President’s Award went to #43, Deer Park. The Grand Marshall Award went to #76, Wenatchee.
The Richard Logerwell Memorial Award also went to #138, Sunnyside.
Equestrian Awards were also announced, with the Michael Dedmon Memorial Award for Excellence going to Miss Newport Rodeo, The Best Overall Equestrian award going to Miss Colorama Pro Rode and the Lilac Spirit Award going to the Ellensburg Rodeo Queen.
The following schools also earned the Lilac Gold Standard Awards at this year’s parade, which represents a high level of excellence:
