PITTSBURGH, Penn. – The Seattle Seahawks opened their 2026 NFL Draft by closing out the first round, selecting Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price.
The Seahawks chose Price to help fill the void left by Kenneth Walker III, Super Bowl LX MVP, who left this offseason for Kansas City.
Price earned a third-team AP All-American nod and a finalist position for the Paul Hornung Award, given to the nation’s most versatile player.
The Denison, Texas native never started any of his 41 collegiate games, but still racked up almost 1,700 yards, scored 21 rushing touchdowns, and ran back two kickoffs for touchdowns.
Price is the fourth first-round running back pick in Seahawks history, joining Ring of Honor members Curt Warner (1983) and Shaun Alexander (2000).
