SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a theft at the Fairmount Memorial Home.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, an employee called to report that someone broke into the cemetery on March 24. The employee said someone broke into a wall niche and stole an urn that held cremated remains.
Detectives do not know a date or time when the theft occurred. SCSO said it appeared to be a targeted theft, since no other damage or theft was reported.
