SPOKANE, Wash. – Aylah Cornwall, one of the most decorated active Greater Spokane League girls’ basketball players, announced her commitment to play for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
The Gonzaga Prep junior will be a part of the Class of 2027, joining the Zags after the coming season this fall. She finishes her senior year of high school next season.
Cornwall missed the entire 2024-25 season with a major knee injury and bounced back to earn the 4A/3A Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year while leading her Bullpups to sixth place at state this March.
