Spokane, WASH. — The Gonzaga men’s basketball team dropped a few spots in the latest AP Poll following the team’s 70-59 loss at St. Mary’s on Saturday.
The Zags slid from the #9 team in the nation down to #12. Gonzaga wrapped up its regular season with an impressive 28-3 record. They were without Braden Huff and Jalen Warley on Saturday. The team heads to Las Vegas as the #1 seed in the WCC Tournament, and will play next Monday in the semi-finals. St. Mary’s is the #2 seed.
Duke remains the #1 team in the new poll. The Blue Devils are followed by Arizona, Michigan, UConn, and Florida.
