GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A retired Grant County Sheriff’s Office K-9 passed away last week.
11-year-old K-9 Edo served from 2017 to 2023, teamed with then-Deputy Tyson Voss.
Edo continued living with the Voss family after his retirement and passed away with Tyson Voss at his side.
“Edo was a great K-9. He won the hearts of the good people he met and caused bad guys to think twice about not surrendering. When not wearing his “game face” and flying through the air, Edo was a big puppy (a big, muscular puppy) that loved belly rubs, our staff, and MACC dispatchers,” the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said in a tribute post to K-9 Edo.
