SPOKANE, Wash –A crash caused major flooding and power outages in Northwest Spokane on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 6:20 a.m. near the intersection of W. Rowan and N Drumheller.
According to witnesses on the scene, a car crashed into multiple trees, power poles, and a fire hydrant.
The crash is causing major flooding and road closures in the area.
Avista is also reporting around 300 people without power.
No word on the condition of the driver, but video from the scene shows a person being carried off on a stretcher.
People are advised to avoid the area.
