MOSCOW, Idaho — The Idaho Vandals men’s basketball team delivered a commanding performance, rolling past in-state rival Idaho State, 99-69 at ICCU Arena.
Idaho jumped to a big early lead and never let go of control, building a double-digit advantage by halftime and extend it in the second half. The Vandals forced turnovers and converted them into easy basketball, while dominating on the glass throughout the game.
The V’s had a balanced offensive attack with four players landing in double figures, Jackson Rasmussen led the way with 21 points.
Idaho improved to 14-12 overall, snapping a three-game losing streak and will be on the road to face Portland State on February 19 at 6 p.m.
