SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Like a good wine, The Tipsy Vine in Spokane Valley is getting better with age. The retail bottle shop has converted to a wine bar, and it’s celebrating its two-year anniversary with a party this weekend.
On Saturday, you can head to The Tipsy Vine for a day of wine, giveaways, and more. Along with full glasses of wine, the shop will be pouring bubbles, ‘The Tipsy Sparkler’ by Tirriddis.
Owner Julia Carlson said the community has been wanting the spot to become a wine bar and the party is, in part, to celebrate the change.
“We love being able to see our members interact with each other and find a sense of community here, which is exactly the point,” said Carlson. “It becomes so much more than what’s in the bottle and what you’re consuming. It becomes the stories behind it and who you’re meeting throughout the process and how you’re connecting.”
The Tipsy Vine is located on Appleway Avenue at Greenacres Road. It offers Washington-made wines as well as snacks and select beers. The Anniversary Party is February 7 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
