Another foggy start to the day will yield to sunshine in the afternoon and the warmest temperatures of the week, at least for most of us.
Plan Your Thursday
Fog will linger through at least midday in the northern valleys, the Spokane area, LC Valley, and the Columbia Basin while the Palouse basks in sunshine. Those who break through the fog and low clouds will see fast-warming temperatures in the fresh sunshine. Temperatures will reach well into the 50s in Southeast Washington and the central Idaho Panhandle. Expect more fog development tonight across Central and Eastern Washington.
What We’re Tracking
Fog and low stratus clouds will linger longer into the day on Friday, keeping temperatures out of the 50s in most locations tomorrow. Rain returns to our skies late Saturday and it will be a soggy Saturday night and Sunday region-wide. Cooler air swings in next week behind the wet weather which will limit our temperatures to the low 40s.
