GREELEY, Colo. — The Eastern Washington men’s basketball team fought hard but fell 74-71 to the Northern Colorado Bears. The Eagles dropped to 5-17 overall.
Eastern Washington’s offense was paced by Alton Hamilton IV, who led the way with 17 points, Kiree Huie added 12, while Johnny Radford chipped in 11 in the close contest.
The Eags closed strongly in the final minutes but couldn’t complete the comeback.
EWU will be on the road on Thursday, February 5 to face the Montana Grizzlies at 6 p.m.
