SPOKANE, Wash. — A driver is suspected of being under the influence and speeding when he caused a crash on I-90 in downtown Spokane Thursday night.
According to Washington State Patrol, 34-year-old Jake Burgess of Colbert was driving east on I-90 at Division Street around 11 p.m.
WSP says Burgess was driving too fast and rear-ended a Department of Transportation attenuator truck doing maintenance on the freeway.
The WSDOT driver and Burgess were not injured.
WSP says Burgess is facing DUI charges for the crash.
